Julia E. Wahl

Graduate from clinical psychology at the Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities (formerly the Warsaw School of Social Psychology), founding and board member of both the Polish Mindfulness Association and the Polish Association for Psychotherapy Integration, one of the authors and organisers of the 1st Conference on Practical Application of Buddhism in Western Psychology. Mindfulness: Theory and Practice, translator of the Polish edition of Bodhi, member of the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration and of the Society for Psychotherapy Research. Her M.A. thesis treated on the states of consciousness and mindfulness in healthy pregnant women (written under the supervision of professor Andrzej Kokoszka). Currently in integrative psychotherapy training programme with Richard Erskine, PhD from the Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy (New York, USA) at the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy (Manchester, Great Britain). She has just started conducting mindfulness workshops (together with Magdalena Mazurkiewicz) based on the MBSR programme created by professor Jon Kabat-Zinn and individual therapy at the hospital of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration in Otwock (department of Neurotic Disorders). Member of the organising committee of the International Conference “Integration in Psychotherapy. How to make it work?” (organised by the Polish Association for Psychotherapy Integration together with the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy).

Interested in psychotherapy integration, antenatal psychology/maternology, culture-bound syndromes and the possibility of integrating Eastern techniques within the framework of Western psychology.


Małgorzata Kowalewska

Project manager in the financial sector with many years of experience in running projects of international scope. Graduate from the Szczecin University, major in economics with the specialisation oin IT in management, obtained within the German-language programme under the auspices of the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). Certified project manager at the Foundation and Practioner level of the Office for Government Commerce based on the PRINCE2 methodology.

For many years, she has been involved in the areas of mindfulness and awareness both professionally and privately. She tries to implement these methods and principles in private life and also in relation to the business world. Participated in many trainings and workshops devoted to these subjects, both in Poland and abroad. Organiser of the training entitled "The Art of Being a Human" and a co-organiser of many similar workshops.

In her private life a satisfied mother of little Anthony (Antoni).
